Choose a city to see what to visit nearby and how far it is from Montenegro's two airports.

Podgorica Airport (TGD)
Montenegro's largest airport lies 12 km south of the capital and is the main gateway for flights from Belgrade, Istanbul, Vienna, Paris and Moscow. It is the fastest starting point for the north — Kolašin, Durmitor and the Tara canyon.
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 0 km
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 92 km

Podgorica
Montenegro's capital sits in a wide valley where the Morača and Ribnica rivers meet, an hour from both the coast and the northern mountains. It is the country's transport hub and the easiest place to start a road trip: motorway north, coastal road west, Albania south.
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 12 km
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 90 km

Tivat Airport (TIV)
Tivat's runway ends a few hundred metres from the Bay of Kotor, which makes it the closest airport to Porto Montenegro, Kotor and Budva. Summer brings direct flights from most of Europe and the terminal is small enough to be outside within minutes.
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 0 km
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 92 km

Budva
Budva is Montenegro's busiest resort town: a walled medieval core surrounded by 35 km of beaches and the country's liveliest summer scene. Everything on the central coast is within half an hour by car.
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 20 km
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 65 km

Kotor
Kotor sits at the deepest point of the bay, wedged between limestone cliffs and the water. Its old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the whole bay can be driven around in about ninety minutes.
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 8 km
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 85 km

Herceg Novi
The first town you reach coming from Croatia, built in terraces of stairways above the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. Mild winters, mimosa in February and easy access to the Luštica peninsula.
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 27 km
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 110 km

Bar
Bar is Montenegro's port city and ferry link to Italy, with a working harbour, long pebble beaches and an abandoned medieval town on the slope behind it. It is the gateway to the quieter southern coast.
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 55 km
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 55 km

Kolašin
Kolašin is Montenegro's mountain resort town at 950 m, an hour north of Podgorica on the new motorway. Ski slopes in winter, rafting and hiking in summer, and cool nights all year.
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 80 km
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 160 km

Žabljak
At 1,450 m Žabljak is the highest town in the Balkans and the base for Durmitor National Park. Expect alpine air, eighteen glacial lakes and snow from November to April — a car with winter equipment is essential in season.
- Podgorica Airport (TGD) — 155 km
- Tivat Airport (TIV) — 215 km
